BRaIN Laboratory
The UNLV Behavioural Research and Integrative Neuroscience (BRaIN) Laboratory is dedicated to investigating neural structures and circuits in the brain involved in sensorimotor and cognitive function. We specialize in translational behavioral assessments that are sensitive at detecting behavioral changes. Our team utilizes a variety of techniques including behavioral, in vivo multi-site neural recording, and histological staining.
Our Research
Our research focuses on understanding the complex workings of the brain and its impact on behavior. We use innovative techniques to investigate neural structures and circuits involved in sensorimotor and cognitive function. Our goal is to develop translational behavioral assessments that are sensitive at detecting behavioral changes.
